Visually very similar to Kentmere Art Classic, which is now discontinued, using the same base, a rough matt with high surface sheen. Pronounced cream base colour. It shares the same characteristics as the Nature 532 ll but with a creamier base colour. This is now the newer smoother base, as used in Foma 532.
Fomatone MG Classic is an amazing art paper on natural double weight paper base. This natural variable contrast paper base with a matt surface is now unique and very worthy of further investigation, it replaces the Kentmere Art Classic Range which has now been discontinued by Ilford UK. Available in two tint colours - the Nature is an ivory off-white and the Chamois is a fantastic creamy yellow colour. But the fascination does not stop there because they both have a warm chloro-bromide emulsion they will tone and lith well so any number of final variation colours is available. For development we suggest Harman, Fotospeed or Neutol WA developers and for lith work we recommend Fotospeed's LD20 kit.
