BROMOPHEN is a phenidone/hydroquinone developer supplied in powder form. Suitable for dish/tray developing all RC and FB black and white photographic papers, it is made into a stock solution that is diluted 1+3 for use. BROMOPHEN gives a slightly warm image tone with most papers and is particularly recommended for dish/tray developing MULTIGRADE Warmtone RC and FB papers to get the warmest image tone.

Bromophen Developer is an exhibition-quality paper developer that works best with fibre-based, fine art papers. This clean working developer mixes from powder and is normally used at a 1:3 dilution rate. It produces a high D-max and allows for extended development without fogging.
