With its dusky sunsets and fading leaves, the month of October is a riot of colour for photographers. From harvest moons to early winter snow, you can have real fun with both light and subject matter.

If you fancy experimenting with light, our cyanotype paper could be ideal. Made of 100% natural fibres, cyanotype paper can be dyed, painted or drawn upon. Since they are extremely UV sensitive, they will capture any object that is placed upon them. Because of these they come included in a black light-safe bag which be opened and closed quickly.

With solar paper, your design choices are endless; whether you want to experiment with flowers, leaves, x-rays, cut outs, hands or jewellery, Cyanotype Paper can really get those imaginative juices running. You can also use drawings or photographs that have been printed on transparencies or acetate.

It can also be printed on both sides, so that it is durable for repeat rinsing.

To hold you design in place, use a piece of clear glass or Prexiglas for tight contact. Once you have exposed your sun print, you can simply remove the design.
