Want to make the most of the Indian summer?

Cyanotype processing can create some eerily beautiful images, that can be used for decorative purposes. The process is extremely easy and ideal for showing children traditional photography techniques. It’s also a fabulous technique for photography students interested in old methods. This 20th century method used traditionally used two chemicals: ammonium iron(III) citrate and potassium ferricyanide.

At RK Photographic we have a range of Sunfabric in different colours for your sun-drenched experiments. Made of 100% cotton, it requires nothing else other than the sun and water. Your design choices are simply endless, whether it’s autumn leaves, old photographs, hands or jewellery.

To create a print, you simply place your negative or object on the fabric. Then expose your sun sprint, before rinsing it in water. Our SunFabric comes in various different sized packs, including those with 25 squares for £24.98.
